Chicken souvlaki skewers

INGREDIENTS

  • 2×5 ounce chicken breasts
  • ½ green pepper
  • ½ spanish onion
  • ½ cup canola oil (or olive oil, which is healthier)
  • 1 fish garlic clove, minced
  • pinch salt
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • pinch pepper
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice

DIRECTIONS

Cube chicken breasts to 8 equal cubes. In a bowl, combine all ingredients except onions and green peppers. Let marinate for a minimum of 3 hours.

Cube onion and green pepper. Carefully skewer alternate pieces, chicken, pepper, chicken, onion etc.

Cook on a hot grill or barbecue for 8-10 minutes. turning occasionally, until cooked. Make sure the chicken is thoroughly cooked!
